 Highlights in Lutheran Campus Ministry at Texas State
 1927
The Texas Synod commissioned Ebenezer Lutheran Church in Maxwell to begin a ministry on campus in nearby San Marcos. Pastor R.C. Albert rented space from St. Mark's Episcopal Church and began weekly worship and Bible Study in the fall of 1927.
This campus ministry became the first Lutheran presence in San Marcos.
 1940 First Lutheran Church established
 1956 Grace Lutheran Church established
 2001
LCM joined with the Episcopal Campus Ministry to form Higher Ground. In January, he two groups began worshipping together on Sunday nights.
 2002 Lutheran Capital Campaign Committee began work to raise funds for the purchase of Christ Chapel.
